Many entities will be affected by Presidents Day, a federal holiday, on Monday, February 21.

All Newtown town offices will be closed..

The transfer station on Ethan Allen Road, usually only available for contractors on Mondays, will be closed.

C.H. Booth Library will be closed, as will Newtown Senior Center.

The US Postal Service will be closed. There is no mail delivery.

Newtown schools are closed Monday and Tuesday, February 21-22.

The office of The Newtown Bee, at 5 Church Hill Road, will be open 8 am to 5 pm, on Monday, February 21.
