Margaret L. Joyce

Margaret L. Joyce, 85, of 201 Valley drive, Pineville, La., formerly of 23 Terre Haute Road, Danbury, wife of the late H. Norman Joyce, died on February 9 in Pineville, La.

Mrs Joyce was born in Newtown, November 18, 1915, a daughter of the late Stephen and Etta (Gilbert) Stucklen. She attended Newtown schools and was a retired inspector for the Barden Corporation of Danbury.

A resident of Pineville for the past seven years, coming from Danbury, she was a member of the Rebekah Lodge, Order of the Eastern Star.

A son, Paul Joyce of Pineville, La., a daughter, Karen Winters of New Preston, as well as six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews survive her.

Graveside funeral services took place on February 15, in Wooster Cemetery, Section 17, Danbury.

Contributions in Mrs Joyce’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s own choice.

The Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home, 9-11 Granville Avenue, Danbury, was in charge of arrangements.
