Teikyo Post Schedules Information Session In Bethel
BETHEL â The Division of Accelerated Degree Programs at Teikyo Post University invites prospective students to an open house registration session in the Distributive Education Room at Bethel High School on Tuesday, February 22, from 5 to 7:30 pm. The session is informal, so people can feel free to stop by any time during the posted hours.
Those who have taken some college courses should bring a copy of their transcript(s) to receive a preliminary evaluation. It is recommended, but not necessary, to call 800/582-8250 to set up an appointment during the information session/open house hours.
Teikyo Postâs Accelerated Program allows students to earn either an associateâs or bachelorâs degree in half the time. The academic year is divided into five eight-week terms and classes meet twice a week, on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:30 to 7:50 pm and/or 8 to 10:20 pm. Students can earn up to 30 credits in one year by taking two courses each term.
Students in the Bethel program can complete a degree in Business Management entirely at the site at Bethel High School. All scheduled courses are guaranteed to run. Courses are offered to fulfill some of the requirements for Accounting, Integrated Business, Marketing, MIS, Finance, Legal Assistant, Psychology and General Studies majors; however, students take the remaining courses for these programs on the main campus in Waterbury.
For those who wish to take courses via the Internet, Teikyo Post University offers several online courses per term. To find out more about the online program, prospective students are encouraged to check out the Web site at www.teikyopost.edu. Degrees in Management Information Systems, Integrated Business, Management, and Criminal Justice can be earned entirely online.
