Pancakes For Shrove Tuesday

St John’s Episcopal Church on Washington Avenue in Sandy Hook will hold its 42nd Annual Pancake Supper on Shrove Tuesday, March 7, from 5 to 7:30 pm in the church undercroft.

The supper will feature the traditional meal of pancakes, homemade corned beef hash or sausage, applesauce and beverage.  Tickets, available at the door, are $6 for adults, $2.50 for children ages 5 to 12, and free for children ages four and under.

There is ample parking behind the church in both the upper and lower community parking lots.

Copies of the church’s cookbook, Families and Friends Through the Generations, also will be sold during the pancake supper.
