NIGHTMARE 2, TRUMBULL: Chelsea Morin scored a pair of goals to lead the Nightmare to the win. Brittany Meier and Erin O’Dell played well on the defensive half of the field.

NIGHTMARE 4, BETHEL 0: Alex Helfer and Chelsea Morin scored two goals apiece to power the Nightmare. Samantha Levin played well in the back while Becky Corrigan and April Scheuerell dominated play in the midfield.

NIGHTMARE 3, DANBURY 0: Chelsea Morin scored a pair of goals and Alex Helfer added one to lift Newtown to a win over Danbury. Kim Allen recorded her second shutout in a row.

NIGHTMARE 2, REDDING 0: Alex Helfer and Chelsea Morin both scored in a battle of unbeatens.

NIGHTMARE 3, EAGLE ELITE PREMIER 1: Chelsea Morin scored a pair of goals and Alex Helfer added one to help the Nightmare advance to the finals. Becky Corrigan was outstandings at center midfield while Julie Hunter and Brittany Meier played well while patrolling the back.

NIGHTMARE 1, BROOKFIELD 0: The Nightmare completed the sweep, and captured the tournament title, with a tough win over a gritty Brookfield squad. Chelsea Morin scored the lone goal while Kim Allen made a spectacular save with three minutes left to play to secure the win.

BOYS U14 PREMIER

 

CHESHIRE 10, STRIKERS 4: The Strikers held a 3-1 halftime lead, but with limited substitutes available, the fast-paced play of Cheshire took its toll in the second half. Cheshire scored eight unanswered goals to take charge of the game in the second half. Nathan Walzer, Sean Rawson, Mathew Miller and Michael Vanasse all scored for the Strikers with Ryan Keogler and Ryan Taplin giving tireless efforts at center midfield. Mike Bonsignore was solid on defense with David Kugielsky and Walzer sharing the goaltending duties.
