To the Editor:

The February 7 “Discusses Proposed Development” letter from Dan Holmes suggesting a town-wide, one year moratorium on large scale housing development starts is an excellent idea. It would allow town officials and townspeople to plan ahead for Newtown rather than reacting to any and every proposal that is made.
