St Rose of Lima School held a number of activities to celebrated Catholic Schools Week, recognized nationally from January 31 to February 5.

At St Rose an open house event took place on Sunday, January 31.

Monday was St Rose School Spirit Day and a pep rally was held in the afternoon before a "pig race" with mechanical pigs.

Tuesday was "Go Crazy About St Rose School" day with students wearing "crazy" hats. Music was also played at random on Tuesday with students and teachers getting up to dance, and a spelling bee was held in the afternoon.

Wednesday was faculty and staff appreciation day. Students were also challenged to dress in their teacher's favorite color for $1 to raise money for a charity voted on by teachers and staff. Eighth grade students faced off against faculty and staff Wednesday night in a basketball game.

Thursday was student appreciation day, with a trivia game for fourth to eighth graders held and Bingo played in homerooms for students in kindergarten to third grade. No homework was assigned on Thursday.

Friday, the final day for the celebration at the school, was "Celebrate St Rose Day and Parent Appreciation Day," with a mass held to celebrate the full Catholic Schools Week, a "faculty feud" game held for an assembly, and other celebration events.
