Dermot Daly
Dermot Daly, 63, of Newtown, died February 11 at his home. Mr Daly was the husband of Alice (OâHara) Daly.
He was born in New York City May 22, 1937, a son of the late Paul G. and Madeleine (Mulqueen) Daly.
Mr Daly was a graduate of Canterbury School and attended Columbia University and Fordham University. He has been a resident of Newtown the past 15 years.
In addition to his wife, survivors include three sons, Paul G. Daly of Allentown, Penn.; Dermot Daly of Bridgeport and Brendan Daly, in the US Army, stationed at Fort Riley, Kan.; four daughters, Alice Daly of Woodbury, Keelin Daly and Bridgid Daly, both of Fairfield, and Mary Daly of Newtown; 2 brothers, Michael J. Daly of Fairfield, and Daniel Daly of Pine Plains, N.Y.; two sisters, Bevin Patterson and Allison Gerard of New York City; and two grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated February 14 in St Rose of Lima Church.
Interment was in Resurrection Cemetery.
