Newtown Softball Winter And Spring Signups

Registration for Newtown Softball’s spring recreational in-house season is available online at www.newtownsoftball.org. The fee for the spring season is $125 with a late fee of $20 after March 1. Multi-child discounts are ten percent (register all children at the same time in order to receive the discount).

All girls with born from 1996 to 2005 are welcome to join and there are no skill requirements to play. Evaluations will be conducted in late March for girls eight and older to support the team selection process. Travel tryout information will be posted soon.

The second session of the Winter Training Clinics at the Newtown Youth Academy will run Saturdays  February 19 through March 26 from 5-6:30 pm.

The clinics are open for players ages five and up who love the game and want to continue to play and prepare for the spring season. Stressing the importance of sound mechanics, the clinics will teach the fundamental elements of the game. The program is intended to be instructional, engaging, and fun to develop the self confidence and the athleticism of all participants. Cost is $100 for the General Skills Clinic and an extra $25 for the Pitching or Catching Clinic. Register at www.newtownsoftball.org.
