Forgiveness And Free Meditation
Forgiveness And Free Meditation
WOODBURY â A free meditation program on forgiveness, called âSo Whatâs the Big Deal About Forgiveness Anyway?â will be hosted by Woodbury Yoga Center on Sunday, February 13.
All are welcome to join speaker, teacher and reiki master Rosemarie Palladino for a discussion about how cultivating an attitude for a life committed to forgiveness enriches anyoneâs daily life and why forgiveness is both important and healthy for the forgiver and the forgiven.
Ms Palladino holds a graduate degree in theology from Yale University and was a teaching assistant under Pastoral Counseling Professor Kristen Leslie, PhD, and renowned liberation theologian Professor Emeritus Letty Russell, PhD.
While at Yale, she performed pastoral counseling at Fellowship Place, an outpatient facility for the treatment of chronic and severe mental illness, served as an elected participant in the Professional Studies Committee, and was the the facilitator of Yale Divinity School Womenâs Center.
She also holds a certificate of study from Hartford Seminary Womenâs Leadership Institute, has done volunteer work at Niantic Correctional Facility, and continues to do pastoral premarital care out of a local church. Â In addition, Ms Palladino is a practicing usui reiki master, a registered Karuna reiki practitioner, and a member of the International Association for Reiki Professionals.
She and her husband reside in Litchfield with their four children and three.
Following the discussion there will be group meditation; free instruction will be available for anyone who needs it. Following the meditation will be a tea reception.
