Flagpole Photographers To Host Competition/Meeting, Still Life Workshop
Flagpole Photographers Camera Club will conduct a photo competition on Thursday, February 16, in the lower meeting room of C.H. Booth Library, 25 Main Street. The program will begin at 7:30 pm.
The public is invited to attend the program to hear critiques by a guest judge, but only members can enter the competition. This monthâs three are Assigned Subject: Ice, Open Color, and Open Black & White.

The public is also invited to attend a still life photography workshop on Thursday, March 1, at 7:30 pm, at Newtown Congregational Church, 14 West Street.
Still life photography is the depiction of inanimate objects where the photographer determines the design elements and composition. Still life scenes will be provided for attendees to practice photography skills. Experienced photographers will be available to assist attendees and instruct on basic camera functions. All levels from beginner to experienced are welcome. This is a hands on event, so bring a camera.
Flagpole Photographers is a local non-profit group that enable members to share their images and expertise, to learn and grow in their photography, and to enjoy the camaraderie of fellow photographers. Membersâs photographic skills range from beginning novices to professional photographers.
