Ruth Ann Jossick

Mother Of Five

Ruth Ann (Langan) Jossick, 69, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late Robert T. Jossick, died February 5 at Bridgeport Hospital. Mrs Jossick was born December 30, 1936, in Carbondale, Penn., daughter of Patrick and Ruth (Reilly) Langan, and had been a Stratford resident the past 42 years.

Survivors include her three sons, Gregory Jossick and his wife, Libby, of Newtown, Jeff Jossick and his wife, Cindy, of Orange, and Gary Jossick and his wife, Sandy, of Stratford; two daughters, Nancy Jossick Papp and her husband, James, of Stratford, and Carol Jossick Campbell and her husband, David, of Milford; one sister, Patricia Smith of Milford; 12 grandchildren, Maureen, Robert, and Patricia Jossick; Thomas, William, and Laura Campbell; Matthew, Meghan, Daniel, and Deborah Jossick; Christopher Jossick; and Dana Jossick; two great-grandchildren, Savannah and Madison; three brothers-in- law, James Jossick of New Hampshire, Gerald Jossick of Newtown, and Raymond Jossick of Stratford; and several nieces and nephews. One son, Robert T. Jossick, Jr, predeceased her.

She retired as a billing manager for Dictaphone.

Funeral service was held February 9 in the William R. McDonald Funeral Home, 2591 Main Street, Stratford, and in Saint James Church, Stratford, for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment followed in Resurrection Cemetery, Newtown.
