Gerard and Carolyn Denault of Newtown announce the birth of a daughter, Mary Katherine Denault, on February 3 at Danbury Hospital.

Ken and Mary Hurley of Sandy Hook announce the birth of their first child, Margaret Catherine Hurley, on January 31 at St Vincent’s Hospital at 9:22 pm.

 She weighed seven pounds three ounces and measured 20 inches.

Present for the birth were Maggie’s maternal grandparents, Charles and Carl Mertz, of Buffalo, N.Y., and her paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Marilyn Hurley, of Carmel, N.Y.
