As chairman of the Pomperaug River Watershed Coalition, Dr Taylor is also concerned about the pharmaceutical waste entering the local water supply, which he will address next Tuesday.

His presentation will discuss how prescription drugs enter the environment, the potential consequences of their presence in the environment, how these pollutants affect people as well as fish and other species, and informative and frightening information gathered from the Pomperaug River and other watersheds.
