Christina Matz, NHS Class of 2005, has been named to the Dean’s List for the fall semester at Saint Joseph’s College of Maine, in Standish.

Douglas Bonjour was named to the Dean’s List for both the 2006 spring and fall semester’s at Hofstra University, Hempstead, N.Y. Douglas is a communications major with a concentration on print journalism.

The University of Rhode Island, Kingston, R.I., has announced the following Newtown students have been named to the Dean’s List for the fall semester: Andrew Bengtson, Elizabeth Berman, Jessica Biscoe, Erin O’Dell, and Nicole Potucek.

Erin Beckman and Jessica Horvath have been named to the Dean’s List for the fall semester by Syracuse University, in Syracuse, N.Y. Erin is a junior and Jessica is a senior, both majoring in communication sciences and disorders.

Kelley E. Fitzgerald and Alexa A. Vacaro have been named to the Dean’s List for the fall semester at The University of Scranton, in Scranton, Penn.

Kerri Cullinan, daughter of Joanne and Keith Cullinan of Newtown, received a bachelor of science degree in hospitality and tourism management from Purdue University, College of Consumer and Family Sciences, West Lafayette, Ind., on December 16. Kerri, NHS Class of 2001, was active in many organizations including serving as secretary on the Consumer and Family Sciences Student Council.
