Peterson's "Kitchen Design Trends"
Petersonâs âKitchen Design Trendsâ
RIDGEFIELD â On Thursday, February 24, at 8 pm, noted author and designer Mary Jo Peterson will give a talk entitled âKitchen Design Trendsâ at Ridgefield Library. She will cover all the current styles, finishes, materials and products that can help homeowners take best advantage of whatâs available in their kitchen.
Ms Petersonâs philosophy is that todayâs kitchen is no longer an isolated work space for one household member, but rather âthe heart and command central of our homes.â The author and teacher of the National Kitchen and Bath Associationâs training program on universal design, Ms Peterson has written Designing the Universal Kitchen, Designing the Universal Bath and most recently, McGraw Hill released her third book, Gracious Spaces.
Her presentation is free and open to the public. It will be held in the Dayton Program Room. For more information, call Susan Verrilli, the libraryâs adult program coordinator, at 203/438-2282. Ridgefield Library is at 472 Main Street (Route 25).
