Holy Cross Jazz Concert

WATERBURY — On Saturday, February 26, at 7:30 pm, the Holy Cross High School auditorium will jump, jive and wail as the Holy Cross music department showcases its various jazz ensembles in a concert entitled “It Don’t Mean A Thing If It Ain’t Got That Swing!”

The program will feature vocal and instrumental selections from all styles of jazz including swing, shuffle, ballade, funk and rock. The Swing Choir, girls’ choir, jazz band, flute, clarinet, saxophone and brass ensembles will all perform memorable tunes such as “Pink Panther,” “Mission Impossible,” “As Time Goes By,” “Satin Doll” and “Alexander’s Ragtime Band.”
