Dr John Woodall, Alex Villamil, the Reverend Matthew Crebbin and Jim Allen invite readers to Rock This Democracy, an evening of live music, notable speakers and self-expression in support of this country's democracy.

The event is planned for Saturday, February 22, in the gymnasium of Edmond Town Hall, 45 Main Street.

Rock This Democracy is a grassroots volunteer movement supporting gatherings of all sizes across America to defend democracy and reject authoritarianism.

The United States is at a profound crossroads. The people own this democracy and together, from all sides, will work to help it flourish.

There is a path beyond projection and echo chambers.

Rock This Democracy organizers lift the light of liberty to illuminate that path for all: all ages, all races and creeds, all orientations, all families and people. Together they mobilize to further the defense of liberty and justice for all.

The event will offer live music, compelling speakers, and self-expression in support of democracy. Guest speakers are TBA.
