Ronald “Ronnie” Mason, 64, of Woodbury, passed away on January 18, 2023, with his wife and daughters by his side.

Born in Bridgeport on November 24, 1958, he was raised in Trumbull where he met his wife, Jennifer. They raised their family in Newtown and then Woodbury, gaining two wonderful sons-in-law and four beautiful grandchildren along the way.

Ronnie was a funny, caring soul who touched the lives of many. He loved taking on projects to help anyone he could.

He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Jennifer Muschett Mason; daughters Christine (Jeff) Reichard and Stephanie (Quinn) Fontaine; his four grandchildren, Teagan, Mason, Logan, and Avery; his sister Concetta (Henry) Ponter, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, his father-in-law and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, Ron and Frances Mason; and brothers Charles and Frank Mason.

Ron overcame unimaginable odds after his diagnosis in June 2022 of advanced lung cancer. He loved his family fiercely and enjoyed the life he had to the fullest.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 18, from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm, at The Heritage Hotel in Southbury.
