Many entities will be effected by Presidents Day, a federal holiday, on Monday, February 15.

All Newtown town offices will be closed Presidents’ Day, Monday, February 15.

The transfer station on Ethan Allen Road, usually only available for contractors on Mondays, will be closed on Presidents’ Day.

The C.H. Booth Library will be closed.

The US Postal Service will be closed on Presidents’ Day. There is no mail delivery.

Newtown schools are closed Monday and Tuesday, February 15 and 16.

The office of The Newtown Bee, at 5 Church Hill Road, will be open 8 am to 5 pm, on Monday, February 15.
