Paul Frederick Beer

US Navy Veteran

Paul Frederick Beer, 74, of Trumbull, died January 31, surrounded by his loving family. Mr Beer was born in Waterbury and was a longtime Trumbull resident.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Anita Derouin Beer of Trumbull; a brother, attorney Robert A. Beer and his wife, Ruby, of Newtown; devoted daughters, Wendy B. Middlemass and her husband, Kirk, of Winchester Center and Sharon E. Robinson and her husband, Richard, of Danville, Calif.; three grandchildren, Caroline Robinson, Julia Robinson, and Kylie Middlemass; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr Beer was a US Navy veteran. He was a retired fiduciary tax accountant, working with his brother, attorney Robert A. Beer, at Cummings and Lockwood in Stamford for more than 40 years.

He was an active member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, serving as financial secretary, usher, and Sunday school teacher.

Mr Beer was an avid sports fan who supported all the New England teams and the Cleveland Browns.

Funeral services were held February 5 in the Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Trumbull, with the Reverend Emil Witschy officiating. Interment was in Nichols Village Cemetery. Arrangements were by the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home.
