Frederick A. Kelley

Frederick A. Kelley, 83, of Appalachian Road, Kent, died February 3 at Sharon Hospital. He was the husband of Tessie (Green) Kelley.

He was the father of Frederick A. Kelley, Jr and Carol Ann French of Newtown.

Mr Kelley was born on July 15, 1916 in Bridgeport, the son of the late Nellie (Cromwell) and Elmer Kelley. He was a carpenter for over 40 years in the Connecticut area.

As well as his wife, son and daughter, he is survived by another son, Benjamin L. Kelley of Kent; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

All services were private. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kent Fire Department, Kent, CT 06757.

The Kenny Funeral Home, 41 Main Street, Sharon, was in charge of the arrangements.
