Fries Named To UW Board

BRIDGEPORT — Mark A. Fries of Sandy Hook has been elected as an officer of the board of the United Way of Eastern Fairfield County.

Mr Fries was elected to a one-year term as chairman for resource development at the agency’s 78th annual meeting on February 4. Mr Fries works for Beardsley, Brown & Bassett, Inc.

United Way of Eastern Fairfield County raises funds to support 102 programs that helped more than 220,000 people in the greater Bridgeport region last year. These programs serve the towns of Bridgeport, Easton, Fairfield, Monroe, Stratford and Trumbull.
