Girl Scouts To Host Hearts Of Hope Children's Event
Girl Scouts in Troop 50113 are set to host an event on Monday, February 23, for children in third through sixth grade to participate in making Hearts of Hope.
The event will be held from 7 to 8 pm at St Rose of Lima School, 40 Church Hill Road.
Participants will paint clay hearts that will be donated to a worthy cause through Hearts of Hope, a volunteer-driven nationwide community service program that has a chapter in Newtown.
The event is part of Girl Scout Troop 50113 members Danielle DePinto, Janyce Toth, Vanessa Tucker, Rose Wheway, and Rachel Wolf’s requirements toward completing the Girl Scout Gold Award.

Those planning to participate are encouraged to wear clothes suitable for painting.
In case of inclement weather, registrants will be informed that the event will be cancelled and rescheduled to the following Monday, March 2; all other details will remain the same.
