Newtown Softball Spring Registration and Training

Registration for Newtown Babe Ruth Softball for girls ages 6 and older is available online at  newtownsoftball.org. The fee for the 2009 spring season is $120.

In preparation for the season, the organization is offering several training opportunities including semi-private pitching lessons, general skills clinics at Frozen Ropes and a skills development clinic targeted for girls 10 and under at Middle Gate School. New this year, Newtown Softball is planning to hold an umpiring clinic in early spring to enable interested high school-age girls and boys to get certified to umpire Babe Ruth and ASA softball games.
