Brown Bag It At Aldrich

RIDGEFIELD — The Aldrich Museum of Contemporary Art will host a pair of “Brown Bag Lunch Tour and Discussion” programs for adult audiences this spring. Participants may choose from either of two dates offered: Tuesday, February 27, or Wednesday, April 11.

A tour of the current exhibition “Paper” will be offered each day at 11 am, with a brown bag luncheon following in the Leir Gallery. Lunch includes the opportunity to engage in a dynamic discussion about the exhibition with Aldrich docents, staff, and other group members.

A $3 charge covers admission, a docent-led tour, coffee, tea, and dessert. Participants provide their own brown bag lunch and drink.

Brown bag lunch tours are meant to offer a fun and informal way to learn about the latest trends in contemporary art. For the novice, these events are the perfect introduction to an internationally recognized arts center, and for old friends of the museum, an ideal way to share ideas about challenging artwork with peers.

Group size is limited. Call Patricia Barratt at 203/438-4519 for a reservation. The Aldrich Museum of Contemporary Art is at 258 Main Street (Route 35) in Ridgefield.
