DANBURY â The Danbury No Kidding! chapter will warm up the winter with a âCaribbean Splash Celebrationâ on Saturday, February 24, at The Heritage Inn.
The night starts at 5 pm with a swim in hotelâs indoor pool followed by cocktails (cash bar) and a tantalizing Caribbean buffet custom-created by a team of Heritage Inn chefs.
The vacation magic continues after dinner with dancing to recorded reggae and steel drum music and a limbo contest. Cost is $35 per person.
For those who really want the full effect of a mid-winter Caribbean vacation, the Heritage is offering a special bed and breakfast rate for Saturday night. Call 264-8200 and mention that you are part of the No Kidding! group to receive the special rate.
The Heritage Inn is on Heritage Road, in the center of Heritage Village in Southbury (signs are posted off I-84 Exit 15).
No Kidding! is an all-volunteer, non-profit social club for couples and singles who, for whatever reason, have never had children. Since its inception in 1984 in Vancouver, BC, Canada, child-free people from Canada, the United States, Africa, Australia, Bangladesh, England, France, India, New Zealand, South Africa, South Korea, Sweden and Taiwan have formed over 80 chapters.
