Moving Violations

Police report that at about 7:22 pm on February 3, they spotted motorist Ian Gingell, 18, of Monroe driving an 1989 Chevrolet Camaro in the parking lot at Newtown Shopping Village at 6 Queen Street, after which Gingell drove out of the parking lot onto Queen Street quickly and unsafely.

Police stopped Gingell to investigate and charged him with making an unsafe movement and with driving with a suspended license.

Police released Gingell on a written promise to appear February 16 in Danbury Superior Court.
