âFace to Face with Reverence,â based on Luke 5:1â11, will be the sermon presented by the Reverend Matt Crebbin at the Sunday, February 7, Communion and Scout Sunday worship service (all current and former Scouts are encouraged to wear their uniforms and will be acknowledged). One Great Hour of Sharing offering will be taken to expedite aid to Haiti. The Garden children will learn the story of Joseph in the movie Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. In February, children in The Garden are studying the Scripture-based theme âGo and Make Disciplesâ (Matthew 28:16â20 and Acts 8:26â40). Child care is available for ages 3 and under. In the event of inclement weather, all daytime church activities (including church office) will be canceled when the Newtown public schools are closed.
