To the Editor:

I visited the Newtown Senior Center on Saturday, January 30, to receive my first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. This was an extremely well-organized event — every person involved was a skilled professional who was helpful, friendly, and kind.

My thanks to Judy, Natalie, and staff — nurses, volunteers, et al — for making this such a pleasant experience.

Before I left, I was given information concerning my next visit for vaccine dose number two. I’m looking forward to it.
