Women’s Center’s Annual Breakfast Feb 9

BROOKFIELD — The Women’s Center of Greater Danbury’s “Hearts of Hope” Annual Breakfast will be held Wednesday, February 9, at 7:45 am, at the Fox Hill Inn, will feature special guest speaker Marie Wendorff, owner of the WitchyPoo boutique in Wilton, and an outspoken advocate for women in abusive relationships.

A survivor of domestic violence herself, Ms Wendorff was recently named one of our area’s five most influential women and has appeared on Oprah as well as the Today Show. She uses her small store as a vehicle for her charity work, hosting many food, toy, and clothing drives for Families To Families, a nonprofit she co-founded in 2009 that helps local families in need.
