Neighbors Helping Neighbors Rebuild

SOUTHBURY — On January February 11, the home of Southbury residents Dave and Robin Mazerolle burned so badly that it is no longer inhabitable. Fortunately, Mr and Mrs Mazerolle, and their cats, made it out of the house safely.

Friends of the couple are now helping them as they try to rebuild their lives. A fundraising event for the Mazerolles has been planned for Friday, February 11. It will take place from 6:30 until 10:30 pm at The Crowne Plaza Hotel, 1284 Strongtown Road (Route 188), and will include dinner, dancing, and a silent auction.

Tickets are a requested $25 donation per person. They can be purchased in advance at the first selectman’s office at Southbury Town Hall, 501 Main Street South; and also at Southbury Kitchens, within Union Square at 385 Main Street South.
