*Latin Pop superstar RICKY MARTIN, whose latest single, “Lo Mejor De Mi Vida Eres Tú,” is currently ranked at #1 on the Billboard Latin Pop charts, will bring his latest tour to Mohegan Sun Arena on Sunday, April 17. Tickets for that show will be on sale Saturday, February 5, at 10 am, through TicketMaster vendors, and then also through the box office of the Uncasville casino beginning Sunday morning. These tickets have been priced at $45 and $55.

*The Avalanche Tour, a new touring festival debuting this year, is bringing together some of the biggest names in rock for a massive North American trek. This year’s tour runs, which run from March 24 to May 8 and features STONE SOUR, THEORY OF A DEADMAN, SKILLET, HALESTORM and ART OF DYING, will roll like a snowball into Mohegan Sun Arena on Sunday, May 1. And the way things have been going so far this winter, they (and we) may very well still be dealing with snow and avalanches by the time they finish touring a week later.

Tickets are $30.25 and go on sale Saturday at 10 am through Ticketmaster. Remaining tickets will also be available through Mohegan Sun’s box office 24 hours later.

*Also going on sale this weekend (which I clued you guys into last week) will be the tickets for DARIUS RUCKER’s June 26 show at The MGM Grand at Foxwoods.

These will actually be on sale Friday morning at 10, through TicketMaster vendors, MGMatFoxwoods.com, Foxwoods.com, by calling the Grand’s box office (866-646-0609), and in person at the MGM Grand’s box office.

Until next week, I’ll be seeing you… on the road. Stay safe out there everyone!

Questions and comments should be sent to Shannon Hicks c/o The Newtown Bee, 5 Church Hill Road, Newtown CT 06470, or shannon@thebee.com, or call the office at 426-3141. Shows listed at clubs are for ages 21 and over unless specified.
