Ice Skating, Party

At Dickinson Pavilion

Newtown Parks & Recreation would like to remind residents that, weather permitting, ice skating is available daily under the pavilion at Dickinson Park.

The rink is lit until 8 pm daily.

In addition, the department is planning a special ice skating party for Friday, February 4 (also weather permitting). The party is scheduled from 6:30 to 9:30 pm, and all ages are welcome. DJ Kevin Koschel, owner of The Music Man, will provide the evening’s skating music.

Hot chocolate and hot coffee will be provided. There will also be a small bonfire to warm up by.

Registration is requested and can be done online at newtown-ct.gov.
