NAAR Walk

For Autism

GREENWICH — A planning meeting for the fourth annual Walk FAR for NAAR (National Association For Autism Research) will be held from 7:30 to 9 pm on Monday, February 7, at the Bruce Museum, 1 Museum Drive.

Volunteers are needed to help in a variety of ways, from planning the walk, organizing a team, or helping on the day of the event. The 2005 walk will be held on Sunday, June 12, at Manhattanville College in Purchase, N.Y.

The planning meeting will be preceded, at 6:45 pm, by sandwiches and refreshments. Those planning to attend are asked to contact Valerie Zygmont by Friday, February 4, at 203-552-8980 or email vzygmont@naar.org.

  Established in 1994, NAAR is the first nonprofit organization in the United States dedicated to funding and accelerating biomedical research for autism spectrum disorders. The organization was established by parents of children with autism.
