David E.          Cassidy

David E. Cassidy, 52, of Aurora, Colo., formerly of Sandy Hook, died unexpectedly November 30.

Mr Cassidy was born in Danbury on February 13, 1952, a son of Shirley (Shannon) Glynn of Sandy Hook and the late David E. Cassidy, Sr.

He was a graduate member of the Royal Order of the Moose, he was involved in all their charitable activities. Mr Cassidy was an avid golfer and cribbage player and participated in many tournaments with his extended family in Colorado.

In addition to his mother, survivors include his son, Travis Cassidy of Danbury; two sisters, Shawne Cassidy of Norwalk and Maureen Manwaring and her husband, Roger, of Gaylordsville; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, William Cassidy, and by a sister, Beverly Cassidy.

Friends may call at the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown, on Saturday, Feb 5, from 1:30 to 4 pm. A memorial service will be held at 2 pm.
