For Genealogy

The Genealogy Club of Newtown will meet on Wednesday, February 8, at 7 pm, at C.H. Booth Library.

Penny Hartzell and Erin Nikitchyuk will do a PowerPoint presentation on how best to use courthouse and land records in genealogical research.

Meetings of The Genealogy Club of Newtown are open to the public, and are held on the second Wednesday of each month at the library, 25 Main Street (Route 25). Refreshments are provided.

Club members, who range from beginning to seasoned genealogists, are from Newtown, Shelton, Brookfield, Danbury, Trumbull, Redding, Greenwich, Southbury, and New Milford.
