School Bd Seeks Public Comment On Space Needs
The Newtown Board of Education will hold a special board meeting on Monday, February 6, at 7:30 pm in the lecture hall at the high school, for the purpose of receiving public input on the high school space needs.

A public question and answer session and budget workshop will be held on Tuesday, February 7, at 7 pm in the media center at Reed Intermediate School. The public is invited to ask the Board of Ed and administration questions that will be answered during the question and answer period.
A workshop will follow where the board will discuss the proposed budget for special education, pupil personnel, curriculum, technology, benefits, transportation, and general items.
The Board of Education will meet on Thursday, February 9, at 7:30 pm, in the media center at Reed Intermediate School for budget deliberations leading to an adoption of the Board of Ed budget that will then be presented to the Board of Finance.
Public participation is scheduled and encouraged at all meetings.
