Outstanding Warrant
Police informed Matthew DeLuca, 19, of 2 Elm Drive on January 31 that they held an outstanding warrant for his arrest in connection with a motor vehicle violation that occurred last spring.
Police said they had issued DeLuca a speeding infraction last March 30, but he had failed to respond to the violation. Thus, police charged DeLuca with failure to respond to an infraction and with speeding.
After processing, police released DeLuca on $93 bail for a February 14 appearance in Danbury Superior Court.
Two Charges
Police said that they stopped motorist Thomas Saint, 50, of Easton on Route 6 about 11:20 am on January 31 after noticing that the vehicle he was driving had no registration sticker on its rear marker plate.
After investigating, police charged Saint with failure to display a vehicle registration sticker and with driving while under suspension.
After posting $250 bail, police released Saint for a February 15 court appearance.
