Ann P. (Stradinger)    Lawless

Communicant At        St Peter Parish

Ann P. (Stradinger) Lawless, 74, of Nunnawauk Meadows, Newtown, died January 31 at River Glen Health Care Center in Southbury. Mrs Lawless was the wife of the late Cornelius J. Lawless.

She is survived by her children, Deacon Louis F. Howe, Sr, of Sandy Hook and Laurie Mark of Waterbury; one brother, Louis Stradinger of Eagle Bridge, N.Y.; and sisters Peggy Olszewski of Buskirk, N.Y., and Sandra Suttile of Darien.

Four grandchildren, Angela Cocchiola, Louis F. Howe, Jr, Angelo J. Simonelli, III, and Louis C. Mark; and four great-grandchildren, Angelo, Michael, Madison, and Tyler, also survive her.

Mrs Lawless was born in Canaan on August 23, 1931, a daughter of Louis A. and Margaret (Nesbitt) Stradinger. She was a longtime resident of Stamford until she moved to Heritage Village in Southbury in 1996. She had been a resident of Newtown the past three years.

Mrs Lawless was a waitress at Country Tavern Restaurant in Southbury before her retirement. She was a communicant of St Peter Parish in Danbury, where her son is deacon, and was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Buskirk, NY.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am on Friday, February 3, at St Peter Church in Danbury. Interment will be in St John Cemetery, Darien. Calling hours were scheduled at Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street in Newtown, on Thursday, February 2, from 5 to 8 pm.
