Jane A. Guerrera

The death of Jane A. Guerrera, 66, of Beaver Brook Road, Danbury, occurred at the Danbury Hospital on February 1. She was the wife of Dante Guerrera and the mother of JoAnn M. Dachenhausen of Newtown.

Born in Danbury March 14, 1933, daughter of the late Matteo and Marie A. (Walker) Santoro, she was a lifelong Danbury resident, attended Danbury schools and Danbury High School.

Mrs Guerrera was in the restaurant business for many years in local diners and restaurants as an owner and hostess.

She was a member of St Joseph Church, a former member of the Americo Vespucci Lodge, and spent her life as a loyal wife, mother and grandmother.

Besides her husband and daughter, she is survived by two sons, Lawrence A. Badaracco, Sr, of New Fairfield and Luke M. Badaracco of Danbury; another daughter, LouAnn A. Calogero of Danbury; a brother, Matthew Santoro, Jr; three sisters, Marie Christopher, Ann Carlson and Eleanor Elliott, all of Danbury; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a brother, Anthony J. Santoro.

Funeral services will be held from the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Saturday, February 5, at 9:15 to St Joseph Church at 10 am for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in St Peter Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Cornell Memorial Home Friday, February 4, from 5 to 8 pm.
