WWF Wants You To 'Find Your Power Within'
WWF Wants You To âFind Your Power Withinâ
The Newtown chapter of Working Womenâs Forum is looking for local entrepreneurs interested in exploring the path to empowerment. Local resident Kerri Cartelli is scheduled to be the groupâs keynote speaker during the WWFâs next gathering, Monday, February 5, at The Villa Restaurant.
Ms Cartelli is the author of the new book, What a Difference a Day Makes: A Survival Guide for Women, which is helping readers to discover their power within through learning the principles laid out in the book. Her talk will cover:
*The importance of having positive women in your life and how to achieve this.
*The importance of having creative outlets for stress and removing the negative influences in your life.
*Learning how to laugh again and enjoy life as you once did while leaving the guilt at the door.
The journey to writing What A Difference A Day Makes: A Survival Guide for Women began when Ms Cartelli realized going through day-to-day tasks can sometimes become exhausting. She found that there were certain exercises she would do every day that made things a little easier.
Networking begins at 6 pm, with dinner and guest speaker at 6:30 pm. The Villa Restaurant is at 4 Riverside Road, Sandy Hook. The cost for dinner is $25 for members, $35 for nonmembers. A 24-hour cancellation policy will be applied for meals on all reservations, which can be called to Kelly Urso at 364-1667 or emailed to rsvp@workingwomensforum.net.
