Warrant

Police report they executed an arrest warrant on January 30 against Alicia Vidnansky, 47, of Southbury in connection with a 2006 incident.

Police said they charged Vidnansky with second-degree failure to appear in court and with driving a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

After posting $1,000 bail, Vidnansky was released from custody for a February 14 court appearance, police said.

Disorderly Conduct

Police report that on January 26, they arrested a youth under age 16 on a charge of disorderly conduct. The school resource officer at Newtown High School made the arrest. Details were not available. Police released the youth on a written promise to appear February 26 in Danbury Juvenile Court.

Because the person arrested is under age 18, their identity is shielded from disclosure by state law.
