State Troubadour At Coffee House

DANBURY â Kevin Briody of Ridgefield, who is serving as the 2001-02 CT State Troubadour, will be the featured performer this weekend at King Street United Church of Christ Coffee House. Mr Briody will bring his guitar and his country-tinged folk songs to 201 South King Street on Saturday, March 24. Doors open at 8 pm, and all are welcome. Call 748-0719 for additional information.

Marilynn Lang was a First Class Lady and Forever Friend of my Mother Carol (Anderson) Altenhof, formerly of Newtown and passed after a long & courageous battle with cancer in 2008. Our Family spent many days with The Lang’s; Briscoe, Sr., Marilynn, Briscoe,Jr., Susan and Fred Lang. We shared a Kindred Spirit of Life with The Lang’s and Briscoe, Sr., Marilynn and Briscoe, Jr. posthumously will forever live in our Hearts and Souls. Given the recent human trafficking of 15 year old girls in Danbury, immigration is not a far off issue.
