Feline Unit Plans Visit

WESTBROOK — The TEAM Mobile Feline Unit, the state’s only mobile feline spay/neuter and vaccination clinic, will visit Southbury on Thursday, February 10.

The TEAM Mobile Feline Unit, a fully equipped surgical suite, enables all cat caretakers to spay or neuter by making these crucial services affordable and accessible. The TEAM fee of $39 per cat includes surgery and vaccinations against rabies, distemper and upper/lower respiratory infection.

The TEAM Mobile Feline Unit is staffed by a licensed veterinarian and veterinary technicians.

Appointments are necessary and may be made by calling toll-free, 888/FOR-TEAM. Callers are told where the unit parks for the day when the appointment is booked.

The TEAM Mobile Feline Unit is a project of Tait’s Every Animal Matters (TEAM), a nonprofit charity based in Westbrook.
