The Northern Fairfield Professionals (NFP), a networking group focusing on members of the local workforce in transition, meets on the second Tuesday of each month from 5:45 to 8 pm, at the Holy Innocents Faith Formation Center, on the grounds of St Rose of Lima Parish, 46 Church Hill Road.

NFP provides local business professionals opportunities for networking with peers, managers, and local business owners and professionals.

Local professionals are invited to attend February 12 for networking, followed by a presentation from Rob Thomas on “Beyond The Business Card.”

Mr Thomas is founder of Networking in Diners and is the creator of the Rob Thomas Method (RTM). He is a master of business development, having an 18-year career of growing and managing regional territories for Iron Mountain, Aflac, and the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce, among others.

He credits his success to his own brand of networking, which turns the adage “It’s not what you know, but who you know” into a new and actionable process.
