Aspetuck Valley Rugby Club spring registration is underway. The club, based in Redding, is offered for boys ages 8-18. There are five teams — U10 through high school-level.

 This is a regional club which includes athletes from Newtown as well as Redding, Easton, Weston, Wilton, Bethel, Ridgefield, Monroe, and Fairfield.

Rugby knowledge and experience are not required. Everyone plays, and everyone touches the ball under the direction of certified and experienced coaches.

The price is $250 for the U12, U14, U16 and U18 teams, and $100 for the U10 team. There is a family discount for multiple siblings, and scholarships are available to any family that needs them.
