School Calendar Committee Survey Available Online

A school calendar committee was created by Schools Superintendent Janet Robinson. The committee consists of teachers, school administrators, PTA representatives from all schools, and Board of Education members. A short survey created by the group will be available from February 2 through February 8 on the school district’s website: www.newtown.k12.ct.us/.  

If anyone is unable to take the survey online, hard copies will be available at all of the schools and central office during the same time frame. Both school district staff and parents/guardians  are encouraged to participate. The survey results will guide the committee and the superintendent in recommending a two-year school calendar to the Board of Education.
