Good Manners

To the Editor:

Isn’t it wonderful that good manners have not gone by the wayside in our lovely town!

Selectman Herb Rosenthal should be congratulated for having the graciousness to thank the members of the Fairfield Hills Authority, Liz Stocker, and all those involved for the many hours of work which they undertook to provide a brighter future for the Fairfield Hills campus.

Mr Rosenthal went one step further and sincerely wished the new tenants of Woodbury Hall the very best of good fortune. He expressed gratitude for their willingness to put their heart, soul, and dollars into renovating a facility which will enliven the campus as well as be a provider of very special services for the beloved pets of Newtown area residents.

Finally a long overdue welcome to our town was extended! Thank you, Mr Rosenthal for being such a warm individual as well as a respected office holder.
