Christina Matz of Sandy Hook was named on the fall 2008 Dean’s List for Saint Joseph’s College in Standish, Maine. To make the Dean’s List at Saint Joseph’s College students must earn a grade point average more than 3.5.

Abigail L. Atkinson, daughter of Glenn and Mary Atkinson, Amber D. Butler, daughter of Shawn and Laurel Butler, and Lauren N. Kostes, daughter of Stephen and Nicoletta Kostes, made the fall 2008 Dean’s List at the Bucknell University, in Lewisburg, Penn. To make the Dean’s List at Bucknell, students must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

Alex Hennessey, son of Robert and Karen Hennessey and a student at the College of Charleston in Charleston, S.C., has been inducted into the William Aiken Fellows Society. The William Aiken Fellows Society is an organization for honors students who are considered top scholars at the national and international level.
